Two elements: the Funeral Director's services (legal documentation, collection, transportation, care of the deceased, optional embalming, ceremonial vehicles, staff, and your chosen coffin or casket) and disbursements & additional costs (third-party fees like cemetery or crematorium charges and officiants, plus personal touches such as service sheets, flowers, and stationery).

Yes. Pre-planning consultations are £110 and ensure your wishes are recorded. When the time comes, £55 is deducted from the funeral invoice.

Attended means family and friends are present at the burial or cremation. Unattended (direct cremation or burial) means there is no ceremony at the burial or cremation itself, no choice of day or time, and no viewing. Families often hold a separate celebration of life afterwards.

Yes, at extra cost: Saturday +£550, Sunday +£800 (on the Lily Professional Service).

In purpose-built facilities in South London, designed to provide the highest standard of dignified care.

Yes, at no charge. A white gown is also available for £50 if preferred.

Yes. One chapel visit is included on the Lily Professional Service; additional visits are £70 each. Chapels of rest are located in Brockley, Beckenham, Catford, South Norwood, or Dulwich.

Disbursements & additional expenses are due 2 working days after the invoice. Funeral Director services are due 5 working days before the funeral. Direct cremations and burials must be paid in full 3 working days before the service.

Bank transfer, debit card, credit card, and cash. American Express is not accepted. Credit card payments via payment link incur a 2% charge.

Yes. If the account is in probate but has sufficient funds, settlement can usually be made directly from the deceased's bank account.

You can apply for the DWP Funeral Expenses Payment, but it's only a contribution and usually won't cover the full cost. If your claim fails, you remain liable for the full amount. Our staff can assist with the application.

The funeral may be rescheduled. Interest of 10% compound every 30 days applies to overdue accounts, and recovery costs are charged to the debtor.
